Job Advertisement: Support for a 6year old Child (Autistic, Pre-Verbal)

We are seeking a kind, patient, and proactive individual to support our client, who is a pre-verbal boy with autism. The client is extremely mellow, happy, and enjoys staying active—he loves going for walks, visiting the park, and engaging in sensory activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in Active Play: Take the client on walks, to the park, or other active outings he enjoys.
• Assist with Meals: the client does not eat during the school day, so assistance with his post-school meals would be beneficial.
• Provide Screen-Free Engagement: The client’s family are aiming to reduce screen time, so we would like activities like toys, puzzles, or other hands-on activities to keep him engaged.
• Promote a Calm and Positive Environment: Provide a gentle and supportive presence, creating a safe space for the client to thrive.

Details:

• Location: Bromley (BR4)
• Schedule: 2 hours a week on a weekday after school during term time and 4 hours a week during school holidays.
