Job Title: Female Personal Assistant

About the Role:
We are looking for fun and dedicated female Personal Assistants to support Alison JU (a pseudonym), a 39-year-old lady with a learning disability and complex health needs, living in Bexley with her family. In this role, you will assist Alison with personal care, mobility, and social activities, ensuring her comfort, safety, and emotional well-being. Your support will be essential in helping Alison lead a comfortable and fulfilling life, allowing her to engage in daily activities and outings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with Alison in a fun, gentle, and engaging manner, ensuring she feels included in conversations.
• Monitor Alison’s health and comfort, adjusting her positions, checking her temperature, and providing support as needed.
• Assist with personal care tasks, including leg bracing, positioning, and managing health needs.
• Provide support with mobility, including using the standing sling and exercise bike.
• Perform light domestic tasks such as cleaning and organising.
• Accompany Alison on outings to the park, shops, or to visit friends.

Key Requirements:

• Compassionate, fun, patient, and understanding with a desire to help others.
• Comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility needs (training provided).
• Strong communication skills and a positive, supportive attitude.
• Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not required.
• A full, clean driving license is preferred.

Shift Patterns Required:

• Waking nights (7 nights a week): 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM
• Morning shifts (3 mornings a week): 9:45 AM – 2:00 PM
• Afternoon shifts (4-7 days a week): 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM or 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
• One day a week: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
